Valentines For Vets

February 10th through the 16th is National Hospitalized Veterans Week, and for the 11th year, Studio 1430 is proud to sponsor "Valentines For Veterans." We invite all Studio 1430 listeners to participate and make a difference in the lives of Colorado's veterans who are ill and receiving care at the VA Hospital and State Veterans Nursing Home.

Simply make, or purchase, Valentines cards and address them to "A Veteran". Then include a personal note of Best Wishes, Thanks for your Service, Get Well Soon, things like that. Once completed you can send your package of cards to us and we'll make sure they're delivered to the veterans. We need them no later than February 10th.

In many cases, your Valentine card will be the only greeting these veterans receive while they are hospitalized. These greetings mean a great deal. Thanks for your support!

Thank you to our sponsors:
