Figaro and the beautiful Susanna are about to be married, but the lecherous Count Almaviva stands in their way. As the Countess grows suspicious of her philandering husband’s motives, a scheming rival, a lovesick teen, a drunken gardener, and a silly young girl find themselves in a dizzying mess of blunders, follies, and mistaken identities that lead servants to outwit their master and love to triumph in the end. They say the course of true love never did run smoothly, but in Mozart’s brilliant and perfect opera, the trials of amore are moving as they are entertaining.

Performed in Italian with English and Spanish subtitles at every seat. Be sure to check out the pre-opera talk by Betsy Schwarm and the Q&A after the opera with General Director Greg Carpenter and Director of Artistic Planning Brad Trexell.
