This is the National Drink of Brazil. Cachaca can be found at some of the larger liquor stores around town. It's a Brazilian liquor made from sugar cane. If you wish, you can substitute vodka, and the drink becomes a Capiroska.
1 1/2 oz Cachaca (either Janerio or Toucano brand)
6 quarters of limes, muddled (smashed) with 2 T sugar
Shake with ice, serve in a highball glass
